The Plaza Maplewood Theatre & SwordLord Productions are proud to present the triumphant return of the Evil Dead Trilogy!
The very first showing of all 3 Evil Dead films in one program started at the University of Minnesota in October of 1993 when I was the student chairperson of the student-run film committee located on the "west bank."
Since then, the Evil Dead trilogy has returned in various incarnations but has not been done locally in sometime.
After more than a 5 year hiatus, I am proud to present the return of THE EVIL DEAD TRILOGY - The Evil Dead; Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn and Army of Darkness (a.k.a. Evil Dead 3: Midieval Dead) - back in glorious 35mm (no grainy video, no p*ssy digital projection!) on the big screen! All 3 films will be shown back to back starting at 9:00pm each night. Tickets are only $8 to see all 3 films!
The Trilogy will be shown at the very first theatre I ever purchased - the Plaza Maplewood Theatre, 1847 East Larpenteur Avenue in Maplewood. Visit www.PlazaMaplewood.com for more venue info.
